Haiyan du

Haiyan Du is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in database engine development and software engineering. From October 2018 to October 2021, Haiyan served as Senior Director of Engineering at Salesforce, overseeing database engine development. Prior to that, from April 2012 to September 2018, Haiyan held the role of Senior Director and Director of Engineering at SAP, focusing on product and innovation within database engineering. Haiyan's career began at Sybase, where a tenure from June 1996 to April 2012 included positions as Senior Software Development Manager and Staff Software Developer, specializing in query processing technology. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology.
