Jamila Yamani

Jamila Yamani, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the fields of climate action and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Climate & Energy at Salesforce since September 2021, where efforts focus on energy transition, carbon removal, and technology innovation. Previously, Jamila held the position of Head of Research & Senior Principal at Climate Impact Capital from April 2019 to August 2021, addressing climate resilience through targeted investment and support services. Additional roles include Editorial Staff at the American Chemical Society and Operating Advisor at Pegasus Capital Advisors, where Jamila conducted due diligence on sustainable acquisitions. Jamila's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, a Master’s from MIT, and a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, complemented by diverse teaching and research experiences in environmental engineering and chemical processes.
