Jim Jagielski

Jim Jagielski is a prominent figure in the open-source community, currently serving as Head of Open Source and Principal Technical Program Manager at Salesforce since April 2021, and representing Salesforce at The AI Alliance since July 2024. As a co-founder and long-standing member of The Apache Software Foundation, Jagielski has significantly contributed to the development of the Apache Web Server and held various leadership roles, including Chairman. Additional affiliations include membership in the OASIS Technical Advisory Committee, the TODO Group, and the InnerSource Commons, as well as board membership at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering Advisory Board. With a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, Jagielski also holds emeritus status at the Open Source Initiative and has been an active member of several other organizations in the open-source domain.
