Makoto Ishida

Makoto Ishida has extensive experience in solutions engineering, primarily within the tech industry. At Salesforce from February 2019 to March 2025, Makoto held the position of Director of Solutions Engineering in the Slack Division, following roles as Senior Manager and Principal Solution Engineer, focusing on communications and client needs. Prior to Salesforce, Makoto worked at SAP Concur as a Solutions Consultant from July 2016 to February 2019, where responsibilities included driving deals and leading other consultants. Makoto's earlier experience includes positions as a Technical Consultant at VMware and a Solutions Architect at EMC, where the focus was on professional services and infrastructure design. Makoto holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Kinki University, obtained in January 2000.
