Paul Brown

Paul Brown is a deeply technical executive engineering leader with a wealth of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, and innovation across various industries. They served as CEO of FiveSight Technologies from 1999 to 2005, and later founded Multifarious, Inc., where they worked until 2015. Paul also held the position of Senior Manager of Payments at Amazon.com from 2005 to 2006, and has contributed as a Principal at both Fremont Analytics, LLC and FasterXML, LLC. Currently, Paul is the VP of Software Engineering at Salesforce, following a research role at the University of Chicago and an academic position at the University of Illinois. They earned a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA from Reed College.
