Sam Chung

Sam Chung is currently the EVP of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce. Prior to joining Salesforce, Chung held various finance positions at Macromedia, Inc. from January 2000 to February 2006, including Senior Director of Business Operations. In February 2006, Chung began working at Salesforce in their finance department, eventually becoming the Senior Vice President of Finance, M&A Finance. In September 2015, Chung left their position at Salesforce to become the Chief Financial Officer at Salesforce.org. During their time as CFO, Chung helped the company grow from $50M to $300M in revenues, and increase their strategic grants program from $20M a year to over $60M a year. In January 2019, Chung led the first acquisition for Salesforce.org.

Sam Chung graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S in Accounting/Economics. Sam then went on to get their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
