Cassandra Re

Cassandra Re is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as a Science Teacher at Salesian College Preparatory since June 2018, where instruction encompasses Chemistry, Conceptual Physics, PLTW Medical Interventions, and PLTW BioMedical Innovations. In addition to teaching, Cassandra holds the position of Head Basketball Coach for the JV program and Assistant Coach for the Varsity program. Prior experience includes serving as Head Basketball Coach for a national team at West Coast Elite Under Armour and an Assistant Coach for the elite under armor circuit team. Cassandra's research experience includes internships at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., focusing on treatments for Stargardt’s disease, and as a Research Assistant at Dominican University of California studying genetics related to pigmentation and eye degeneration in crustaceans. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Dominican University of California, completed in 2018, following attendance at Carondelet High School from 2010 to 2014.
