James Nicholas

James Nicholas has worked in the software development industry since 1998. James began their career as a Programmer at Research Data Design, followed by a role as IT/Development at Encompass Teleservices. In 2004, they founded Wastrilith2k, a web development company, where they learned Drupal development, focused on custom PHP applications, and dabbled in SEO. In 2007, they took a role as a Client Advocate at Yahoo, assisting search marketers with questions/concerns on their PPC campaigns. James then moved to Webtrends in 2008, where they held roles as a Technical Support Engineer, Senior Technical Support Engineer, and Lead Technical Support Engineer. In 2010, they founded 01 Web Development, where they focused on solutions for clients. In 2017, they joined Oracle as a Software Engineer, Scrum Master, and Lead Software Engineer. James is currently employed at CAVALLO as a Software Developer.

James Nicholas obtained an Associate's degree in CIS from Portland Community College between 2004 and 2007. James also obtained four certifications from Microsoft: MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (March 2013), MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (March 2013), MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Configuration (December 2012), and MCSD: SharePoint Applications (April 2016).
