Thanh N.

Thanh N. began their professional career in 2010 as an Office Assistant at Hope College. In 2014, they took on a Customer Service role at Lakeshore Restore. In 2015, they became a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where they also provided in-store Nook technical support and hand sold product. In 2017, Thanh N. began working at SalesPad as a Software Developer Intern, where they contributed software enhancements to a web-based AngularJS B2B portal. They were later promoted to Software Developer and then Software Developer II, where they developed enhancements and customizations for the portal and desktop ERP application in .NET Framework, explored and integrated Commerce V3 eCommerce integration into SalesPad desktop ERP application, and facilitated team development by mentoring new developers on frontend web development. In 2021, Thanh N. joined BizStream as a Web Developer, where they implemented website features and components per client specification using Gatsby and ReactJS, C# and Razor on top of Kentico Xperience CMS and Kontent headless CMS with primary focus on frontend web experiences. Currently, they are a Software Developer at CAVALLO, where they are contributing to the development of a ReactJS and TypeScript single-page application conforming to product development specifications and utilizing jest and service workers to enhance unit and integration tests using mocked network data and accelerate frontend development asynchronously to backend development.

Thanh N. began their education in 2009 at Hope College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Japanese Studies Composite in 2013. Thanh then attended Meiji Gakuin University as a Non-degree student in the International Student Program from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they attended Grand Valley State University from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science.
