Sam Swanton

Sam Swanton has extensive experience in retail and commercial operations within the football industry. Currently serving as Head of Commercial at Salford City FC since May 2024, responsibilities include managing sponsorships, ticketing, and retail operations. Previously, Swanton held the position of Head of Retail at Wigan Athletic F.C. from June 2019 to April 2024, where notable achievements included overseeing retail operations, implementing marketing campaigns, and achieving year-on-year sales growth. Earlier roles include Retail Manager and Merchandising Manager at Milton Keynes Dons Football Club, where all retail operations were managed, alongside experience in customer service and hospitality roles. Swanton completed a Master's degree in International Sport Management from UCFB and holds a degree in Football Business & Marketing.
