Matt Stein

Matt Stein is the co-founder and CEO of Salient Predictions. Prior to founding Salient, Matt was the VP of Global Business Development at Jupiter Intelligence, a data and analytics company focused on predicting and managing risks from weather and sea level rise. Before Jupiter, Matt was the co-founder and CEO of Multitude, a sensor data and analytics platform for measuring and understanding urban air pollution exposure and patterns. Multitude was acquired by a spin-out of Intellectual Ventures. Matt has also held positions as the Head of Commercial Strategy & Developer Ecosystem at GE Digital and as an Ecomagination Product Manager at GE Capital Americas. Most recently, Matt was an Entrepreneur in Residence at GE Ventures.

Matt Stein graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Matt then went on to earn their MBA in Managerial Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Matt is also a LEED Accredited Professional in the US Green Building Council.
