Janet Lee

Janet Lee has extensive experience in product management and leadership roles in various technology companies. Janet is currently the Chief Product Officer at Salient, where they lead the delivery of probabilistic forecasts for weather variables and helps enterprise clients make better decisions in a changing climate.

Prior to Salient, Janet served as the Chief Product Officer at Emtropy Labs from 2019 to 2021. Janet was responsible for product strategy and development at the company.

From 2017 to 2018, Janet was the VP of Product at FirstFuel Software, a machine learning platform that provided customer intelligence and energy insights. Janet led the product, data science, UX, and technical writing teams and launched new product offerings to drive innovation and accelerate sales.

Before that, Janet held the position of VP of Product at TimeTrade Systems from 2015 to 2017. Janet established a product management organization and implemented Agile Scrum processes to drive market-specific strategies and offerings.

Janet also served as the VP of Product at Lattice Engines from 2008 to 2014. Janet played a key role in developing and iterating the minimum viable product, growing the customer base, and raising venture capital funding.

Prior to Lattice Engines, Janet was a Senior Manager of Product Management at Oracle, where they managed a team and collaborated with strategy and sales to create a cohesive suite of analytic applications.

Janet's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Product Manager at Frictionless Commerce and as the Director of Product Management and Marketing at Marcam. In these positions, they defined product vision, led teams through mergers, and executed plans for new application delivery.

Janet Lee attended Brandeis University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Stuyvesant High School.
