Rose Yu

Rose Yu is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor with Tenure at UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering since July 2020. Prior to this role, Rose held positions as an Assistant Professor at both Northeastern University and as a Visiting Researcher at Google, where significant contributions included leading a graph temporal AI project aimed at enhancing the explainability of time series forecasting algorithms. Rose's career also includes notable postdoctoral research at Caltech and extensive experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, complemented by internships at leading technology firms such as IBM, Yahoo, Intel Labs, and Microsoft. Rose Yu earned a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
