Lauren Stroud

Lauren Stroud, LCSW, MS, currently serves as a Clinical Social Worker in the Emergency Department at Salinas Valley Health since August 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Montage Health and as an ASW Therapist for the PHP/IOP program at Ohana, Center for Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health. Experience also includes serving as a Psychiatric Social Worker with Monterey County Behavioral Health, co-founding The Tiny Tentacles Project, and holding positions at Seneca Family of Agencies, Monterey County, and Interim, Inc. Lauren’s educational background includes a Master of Social Work from California State University, Monterey Bay, a Master of Science in Public Safety with a specialization in Criminal Justice from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science from California State University, Monterey Bay.
