Rufael Serekebrhan Tesfamariam

Rufael Serekebrhan Tesfamariam has a strong background in clinical laboratory science, with experience in multiple healthcare organizations. Rufael Serekebrhan started their career as a Laboratory Technical Assistant at Sanford Health in 2014 and later became a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the same company from May 2016 to January 2018. From March 2017 to August 2019, they worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Essentia Health. Rufael then joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from January 2018 to November 2019. Rufael Serekebrhan further expanded their expertise by working as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II at Sutter Health from January 2020 to September 2021. Currently, Rufael is working at Salinas Valley Health as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, where they assumed the role of Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist in February 2022.

Rufael Serekebrhan Tesfamariam has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Animal Sciences from the University Of Asmara. Rufael Serekebrhan also has pursued Medical Laboratory Science at the North Dakota State University. Throughout their education, Rufael has obtained additional certifications including the "(MLS) ASCP" from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the "Clinical Laboratory Scientist: Generalist (CLS)" from the California Department of Public Health.
