LauraLee Hughes

Director, Corporate Development & Strategy at SalioGen Therapeutics

LauraLee Hughes has over 18 years of experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industry. LauraLee began their career in 2004 at the Texas A&M Center for Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing, where they held the role of Project Manager and Project Coordinator. In 2013, they moved to the Texas A&M Health Science Center, where they served as Executive Director of the Office of Technology Translation. In 2016, they joined the Texas A&M University Division of Research in the same capacity. From 2018 to 2022, they were Assistant Director of New Ventures at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M, and they currently hold the role of Associate Director of Alliance Management and New Ventures at SalioGen Therapeutics. In 2014, they participated in Leadership Texas (#LT2014).

LauraLee Hughes completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M University in 2008. LauraLee then earned their Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same university in 2009.
