Lynn Fuini-Hetten

Superintendent at SALISBURY TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT

Lynn Fuini-Hetten is the Superintendent at Salisbury Township School District with over 26 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. Lynn started her career in Salisbury Middle School where she taught 6th grade for 15 years. Prior to being appointed as Superintendent, Lynn served in a variety of roles including: Associate Superintendent, Supervisor of Instructional Practice, middle school teacher, instructional coach, instructional support teacher and assistant principal in the district. Her work focuses on leading both the instructional and operational facets of the District. While managing the day to day work inside the District, Lynn also works to ensure we have a thriving school community for years to come, both fiscally and instructionally.

Having worked in the District since 1995, Lynn is passionate about Salisbury and is proud to serve the school community. Salisbury teachers and staff are equally deeply committed to our learners and their success. Together, we can continue to nurture a progressive, forward thinking organization dedicated to the whole child.

Lynn received a BS and an MS in elementary education from Kutztown University, principal certification from Penn State University, instructional technology certification from Kutztown University and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Wilkes University. Lynn teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs in Moravian College as well as the principal and Superintendent certification programs at CLIU21.

In May 2014 Lynn received the Wanda McDaniel Award from the Women’s Caucus of PASA (Pennsylvania’s Association of School Administrators.) She received the PASA Award of Achievement for Instructional Leadership in 2019. Lynn is active in PASA serving as the PASA Women’s Caucus President and a Director on the Board of Governors.
