Heather Jones

Heather Jones is an experienced professional in programme delivery and decarbonisation initiatives, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Programmes at Salix since April 2018. In this role, Heather leads programme delivery teams across Scotland, Wales, and England, focusing on operationalising government net zero policies and managing multi-million pound funding schemes for public sector heat decarbonisation and carbon reduction projects. Prior to this, Heather held positions as Senior Programme Manager, Programme Manager, and Programme Coordinator, leading efforts to support public sector access to funding and technical support for energy efficiency projects. Heather's earlier experience includes roles at CoSector - University of London, National Trust, and John Lewis. Heather holds a Master of Science in Environmental Governance from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Newcastle University.
