Steven Adam has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. Steven began their career as a Technical Architect at Dana Petroleum Plc in 2011 and continued in the same role at Aberdeen College and Maersk Drilling in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Regional Service Delivery Lead at Shell Oil Company. In 2016, they joined Jet2.com as an IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager. Steven then worked at Burberry from 2018 to 2021, where they held various positions including IT Infrastructure Operations Manager and Senior Manager of Infrastructure Platforms. From 2021 to 2023, they were the Head of Infrastructure & Platforms at Cox Automotive Europe. Currently, Steven serves as the Head of Information Technology at Salix Homes.
Steven Adam attended Forfar Academy from 1990 to 1996. Steven then went on to study at the University of Glasgow from 1996 to 2000. The degree and field of study for both institutions are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Steven obtained several certifications. In March 2019, they earned the ITIL Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In August 2015, they obtained the MBCS certification from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY. Lastly, in July 2010, Steven achieved the MCSA Messaging Specialist certification from Microsoft.

Salix Homes is a multi-award winning social housing provider based in Salford, Greater Manchester. We began our journey in 2007 when we launched as an arms length management organisation (ALMO) operating on behalf of Salford City Council. In 2014 our tenants voted for us to take over ownership of their homes from the council. In March 2015 we officially moved away from the council and became a stand-alone Registered Provider (RP) responsible for providing the people of Salford with the high-quality homes they deserve.
