Huang Shi

Huang Shi is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in modeling, strategy development, and business optimization. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at Sallie Mae since July 2018, Huang has previously held positions such as Senior Manager and Statistical Modeler at the University of Delaware, where significant contributions included automating departmental processes, developing peer selection models, and leading customer retention analysis projects with notable success. Huang's career began at the Shanghai Outsourcing Institute and continued at the China Outsourcing Institute, managing impactful data analysis projects and collaborating on numerous industry research initiatives. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Data Communication from The University of Sheffield and further studies at the University of Delaware.
