Mikael Skyum

Mikael Skyum is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Mikael serves as the Head of Commercial Finance at Salling Group since October 2018, following a role as Senior Finance Business Partner for Fresh Food. Prior to this, Mikael owned and managed Hosteria Cauquen, a boutique hotel in the Andes Mountains, since 2010. Mikael's background includes significant positions at Maersk Line, where responsibilities spanned CFO roles for multiple regions in Central America and Business Partnering across various functions, as well as holding finance positions in Argentina. Early career experience includes managing interest rate exposure at A.P. Moller - Maersk, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Aarhus University. Mikael's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Business and Economics from Aarhus University.
