Maria de Lira-Salazar

Maria De Lira-Salazar is an experienced professional in product development and brand management, currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Sally Beauty since June 2021. In this role, Maria oversees the entire product development life-cycle, focusing on the innovation and launch of new projects for the brand. Prior to this, Maria worked as a Jr. Brand Manager-Innovation at Barcel USA, managing various snack project innovations from December 2017 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes the role of Assistant Brand Manager for Hair Color and Professional Goods at Sally Beauty from July 2014 to December 2017, where Maria contributed to innovative products in the beauty industry. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations & Counseling from the University of Oklahoma.
