Karen Staley, MBA, ICAE has over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and business development roles within the entertainment and attractions industry. Karen is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Sales at Sally Dark Rides, where they are responsible for creating and expanding dark ride experiences for various attractions. Prior to this, Karen worked as a Sales Consultant for one year and as the VP of Sales USA at Triotech for two years. Karen also served as the Executive Director of the OWASP Foundation, a leading international foundation focused on improving software security. Additionally, Karen held multiple senior management positions at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), including Senior Vice President of IAAPA EMEA and Vice President/Executive Director of IAAPA Europe. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for enhancing customer experience and member services.

Karen Staley, MBA, ICAE has a diverse education history. Karen began their educational journey at Goethe University Frankfurt, where they pursued a BA in German with a focus on Applied Linguistics from 1984 to 1986. Later, Karen attended Hood College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and German. Karen then furthered their education at Mount Saint Mary's College University and Seminary, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Marketing. Additionally, Karen also pursued another MBA degree, this time with a focus on Marketing and Finance, from Mount St. Mary's University.
