Nathaniel Piercy

Nathaniel Piercy has extensive experience in environmental health and safety management. Nathaniel most recently worked as the Deputy EHS Director at Sallyport since May 2018. Prior to that, they were the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Valspar from December 2016 to April 2017. Nathaniel also served as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Sigma Aldrich from May 2014 to December 2016. Nathaniel's earlier experience includes roles as the HSE Manager/Trainer at AECOM from April 2012 to May 2014, the Regional Safety Manager Afghanistan at Fluor from August 2008 to November 2012, and the Senior Managing Consultant at Integrity Consulting Services Ltd from September 2005 to August 2008. Throughout their career, they have had key responsibilities in OSHA compliance, training, incident investigation, and safety audits.

Nathaniel Piercy attended Louisiana State University from 1989 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Health and Safety with a focus on Fire Prevention and Safety Technology/Technician. During the same period, they also studied at the University of South Alabama, specializing in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene. In terms of additional certifications, Nathaniel obtained the ISO 45001 certification from the ISO - International Organization for Standardization in October 2017. In May 2015, they acquired the NFPA 70e certification, and in February 2014, they obtained the ISO 18001 certification from ISO International, LLC. Before this, in December 2013, Nathaniel earned the CPSA certification from BEAC and the RCRA/DOT certification. Lastly, they acquired the OSHA 500/501 certification in August 2006.
