Roy Reite

Roy Reite, a graduate of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with a degree in Marineteknikk, currently serves as the CEO of SalMar Aker Ocean, focusing on fish farming in exposed environments. Reite also holds the position of Chairman at Sparebanken Møre since March 2023. Previously, Reite was the CEO of Fjordlaks AS from September 2019 to January 2022 and the CEO of VARD from December 1999 to September 2019. Additionally, Reite has been involved with DNV Council as a council member from June 2003 to May 2021 and served as Chairman of the Luminell Group from March 2020 to April 2021, as well as a board member at Sparebanken Møre from March 2004 to March 2020. Early in the career, Reite worked as a consultant at Intentia Consulting from August 1996 to December 1999.
