Tim Maud

Tim Maud has extensive work experience in the outdoor and sportswear industry. Tim is currently serving as the Salomon Apparel Innovation Lab Director since July 2022. Before that, they worked at adidas for many years in various design roles, including Design Director adidas INNOVATION, Design Director /// Advanced Concepts, Global Design Director Outdoor Apparel, and Category Design Manager Outdoor Apparel. Prior to adidas, Tim worked as a Designer at Berghaus Ltd, where they designed the highly acclaimed Extrem range. Tim also gained valuable experience as a Product Designer at Palm Equipment Int Ltd, where they were involved in all aspects of the product life cycle. Tim started their career as an Assistant Manager at Taunton Leisure and also worked as a Sales Manager/River Guide at Himalayan Rivers Exploration.

Tim Maud pursued their education starting from 1990 to 1993 at The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they obtained a B.Sc (hons) degree specializing in Sports Science. Subsequently, in 2001-2002, they enrolled at the University of Derby, where they earned an MA degree in Sports Performance Design.
