Lulu Friesdat

Lulu Friesdat is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of SMART Elections, an innovative nonpartisan non-profit organization. Lulu has experience as an editor at Nightline, ABC News, and Salon Media Group, Inc. Additionally, Lulu has worked as a contributing writer for Salon, a creative director at Shugah Works, and in various editorial and investigative roles in the field of election security and reporting. Friesdat has also been a TEDx speaker and has a BS in Theatre and Adapting Literature for Performance from Northwestern University.
