Michelle Poirier

Michelle Poirier has had a diverse range of work experience. Michelle started their career in 2007 as a Guest Services employee at Country Inn & Suites Duluth North, where they performed administrative duties and trained new staff. In 2009, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they utilized their graphic design skills and also led tours for prospective students and parents. Michelle then interned as an Admissions Representative at the university later that year. In 2010, Michelle joined the Tweed Museum of Art as a Museum Studies Intern, where they assisted with marketing, education, and project management. Michelle also worked briefly as an Executive Designer/Transcriber at Help Wanted/Works Progress. Michelle's most recent position, which they have held since 2010, is as the Vice President of Lili Salon Spa. In this role, they are responsible for recognizing industry trends, implementing marketing plans, fostering a growth environment, and providing coaching and support to the team. Michelle's current position, however, is not their only leadership role, as they also serve as the Academy Director at Atelier Academy of Beauty, a position they have held since 2014.

Michelle Poirier attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Studio Art, specializing in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking.
