Ian Rarity has extensive experience in the hair and beauty industry, currently serving as Furniture Trading Manager at Salons Direct since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing salon equipment business projects. Previously, Ian held the position of Managing Director at Salon Equipment Specialists Ltd from April 2018 to September 2019. Ian's long tenure at Sally Salon Services spanned over three decades, during which various roles included National Equipment Manager and National Equipment Specialist, focusing on high-end salon equipment sales primarily to colleges and larger salons. Ian's career began as a Stock Controller at Higgs Electrical Engineers, with education from The Glasgow School of Art and Balfron High School.
