Lucia Tabucchi's work experience includes being a member of the evaluation panel for virgin olive oils at the Camera di commercio di Pisa starting in 2006. Prior to that, they worked at Salov Spa since 2002 as the Head Analyst in Research and Development. Their responsibilities included evaluating quality parameters and authenticity of olive and seed oils, implementing new analysis methods, and optimizing existing methods. Lucia also had experience with various analytical instruments such as gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, and spectrophotometry.
Lucia Tabucchi completed their education at various institutions. In 1999, they obtained a five-year Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Pisa. In 2004, they pursued a degree in Quality Control of Drugs from the same university. Later, in 2006, they attended Stazione Sperimentale Oli e Grassi di Milano for an Advanced Course in Gas Chromatography applied to the analysis of fatty substances. Finally, in 2015, they earned a Certificate as Head Taster of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Camera di Commercio di Pisa.
