Ryan Poirier

Ryan Poirier is the Director of Index Products & Research at Salt Financial. Ryan has over four years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on index research and design. Prior to joining Salt Financial, Ryan was an Associate at S&P Dow Jones Indices, where they worked on designing and developing global strategies for capturing desired exposure in multi asset, single/multi factor exposures, derivative strategies, and managed risk portfolios. Ryan also championed large data analysis projects for several SPDJI publications. In their role at Salt Financial, Ryan is responsible for overseeing the index product line and conducting research to support the development of new products.

Ryan Poirier has a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Finance, and Economics from State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. Ryan also has certification from GARP in FRM Charterholder, from the Society of Actuaries in Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), and from CFA Institute in CFA Charterholder.
