Tara Baucom

Tara Baucom has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tara is currently the Director of Events & Programs at Salt Lake Chamber since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Salt Lake Chamber as a Programs & Events Manager from April 2019 to August 2022, and as a Programs & Events Coordinator from September 2016 to April 2019. In these roles, they organized and planned numerous events, managed event logistics, coordinated with suppliers and sponsors, and executed successful marketing plans.

Tara also has experience as a Business Owner at Jupiter Dog Sitting LLC since January 2020. Tara briefly served as a COVID-19 Business Advisor at Women's Business Center of Utah from May 2020 to August 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Event Coordinator at Woods On Ninth from April 2014 to December 2016. Tara also held positions as an Assistant Director of Strategic Partnerships at Sack Lunch Productions, Inc. in June 2016, a Leadership Intern at the University of Utah from January 2016 to May 2016, and a Receptionist at Dogmode LLC from April 2014 to October 2015. Tara started their career as a Peer Advisor in the Leap Program at the University of Utah from August 2013 to May 2014. Tara has a diverse skillset that includes event planning, coordination, marketing, and leadership.

Tara Baucom earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
