Brian Leftwich

Brian Leftwich is an experienced professional with a diverse background in firefighting, community relations, and volunteer services. Currently serving as a Firefighter for Salt Lake City Corporation since March 2015 and as the Director of Community Relations at Venture Real Estate since October 2014, Brian has a strong commitment to community engagement. Previous roles include statewide director at Metro Volunteers, where significant disaster response initiatives were coordinated, and program director at Points of Light, overseeing the Exelis Action Corps volunteer program. Brian's extensive experience in project management and volunteerism includes leading large-scale initiatives and partnerships and serving in the US Army as a Combat Engineer. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Northern Colorado and a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician from Front Range Community College.
