Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown is a professional with diverse experience in public service and customer relations. Currently serving as the Boards & Commissions and Recognized Community Organizations Liaison and Minutes and Records Clerk at Salt Lake City Corporation since May 2022, Matthew previously held roles at Wells Fargo as a Teller and at Goldenwest Credit Union as a Financial Services Representative. An internship with the Utah State Senate in early 2020 provided experience in legislative affairs under State Senator David Hinkins. Matthew's earlier roles include serving as an Asset Protection Associate, Customer Service Manager, and Cashier at Walmart, where responsibilities ranged from managing security and loss prevention to overseeing customer service operations. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Weber State University, completed in 2022, and a high school diploma from Clearfield High School, obtained in 2018.
