Sarah Young currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff at Western Governors University and is a Salt Lake City Councilwoman with experience in educational leadership spanning over a decade. Previously, Young held various roles at the Utah State Board of Education, including Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Initiatives, where responsibilities included managing complex educational programs and supporting educators.
