Anna S. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Adjunct Faculty Chairperson on the Faculty Association Executive Board at Salt Lake Community College since April 2019, where advocacy for adjunct faculty needs is a primary focus. Anna also teaches courses in Health and Nutrition and holds a commissioner position on the UServeUtah - Lieutenant Governor's Commission on Service & Volunteerism, engaging in grantmaking and strategic planning. As the Managing Director of Mindfulness Utah since March 2017, Anna oversees evidence-based programming, including the internationally recognized Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction course. Previous roles include Senior Associate Consultant at Cicero Group, Engagement Manager at UServeUtah, and Assistant Director at Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Education includes a Qualified Instructor certification from UMass Chan Medical School, a Master of Science in Health Promotion and Education from The University of Utah, a Professional Certification in Performance Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Arts from Weber State University. Anna is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Arizona State University.
