Brian Acord

Brian Acord is currently the Director of Educational Programs & Community Outreach at Salt Lake Community College, where responsibilities include developing and managing educational initiatives such as the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program. As an Adjunct Professor and Corporate Instructor, Brian facilitates various entrepreneurship programs, aiding individuals in starting and growing businesses. Additionally, Brian serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Common Thread, supporting vulnerable teens, and holds roles as an NHL Off Ice Official and Founder of Acord.AI. Previous positions include Program Director for Verizon Innovative Learning, Creative for the Strangers You Know Podcast, Certified Trainer for USA Lacrosse, and Chief Operations Officer at Azureity Inc. Educational credentials comprise an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Business Education from Brigham Young University.
