José Rodríguez Hernández

José Rodríguez Hernández, M.Ed., serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student Support at Salt Lake Community College since April 2019, where responsibilities include managing full-time staff and overseeing community engagement and basic needs programs. José has developed relationships with over 40 community partners and previously worked in various roles at Netflix and TruHearing, ultimately leading teams in customer service and provider outreach. José's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Justice and Policy, a Master's degree in Education, Culture, and Society, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration at the University of Utah.
