Nancy Singer

Nancy Singer has a diverse work experience in the education field. Nancy began their career at Modesto Junior College in 1986, where they held the position of Director of Student Development & Campus Outreach until 2000. Nancy then joined the San Diego Community College District as an Associate Dean of Outreach from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, they joined MiraCosta College as the Director of Retention Services until 2002. From 2006 to 2011, Nancy worked at the SALT Center at The University of Arizona, where they held the roles of Assistant Director of Admissions & Recruitment and Director of the Tucson GEAR UP Project. Finally, since 2011, Nancy has been with Salt Lake Community College, where they have held various roles including Assistant Vice President, Interim Vice President of Student Services, and currently, Associate Vice President for Student Success and Completion.

Nancy Singer has a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Arizona, which they obtained between 2003 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed their MA in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University from 1978 to 1979. Their undergraduate degree is a BS in Marketing from Millikin University, which they earned from 1974 to 1978.
