Ryan McDonald

Ryan McDonald is an experienced web sports writer and editor currently employed at Deseret News since August 2015, where responsibilities include writing breaking news stories and features, as well as handling desk editing duties. In addition to this role, Ryan has served as Editor-in-Chief for The Globe at Salt Lake Community College since August 2011, overseeing the weekly production of the campus newspaper and guiding reporters. Concurrently, Ryan has been involved with The Daily Utah Chronicle, focusing on sports writing, particularly as the gymnastics beat writer for a leading women's gymnastics team. Ryan holds a degree from the University of Utah, attended from 2011 to 2013.
