Kade Moncur, PE, CFM, serves as the Director of Salt Lake County Engineering and Flood Control, overseeing all administrative and management functions within the department since July 2010. Previously, Kade held the position of Flood Control Engineering Section Manager, managing flood control projects and conducting advanced hydrologic engineering analyses. Prior to joining Salt Lake County, Kade worked as a Project Manager at Stantec Consulting Services Inc., specializing in water resource engineering, hydraulic modeling, and design for various infrastructure projects. Kade began the professional career as a Project Engineer at Jacobs Sverdrup, focusing on environmental management. Kade holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University.
