Colton Lochhead

Colton Lochhead is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Utah Lands Editor for The Salt Lake Tribune since December 2024. Prior to this role, Colton worked as a Public Outreach Coordinator at Southern Nevada Water Authority from October 2023 to December 2024. Colton has extensive reporting experience gained over a decade at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, where responsibilities included writing in-depth news stories on the prolonged drought in the Southwest, as well as covering elections and state politics as the Carson City bureau chief. Colton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, earned between 2008 and 2012.
