Michael Coleman

Michael brings a highly analytical and strong budget focus to our executive team, and a long history of successfully constructed high-end, luxury residential projects. He is the founder of Salt Shed Design Build, and an expert at managing project details throughout all phases of the construction process. His analytical approach to maintaining project profitability in complex development projects is based on 25+ years of construction and construction management experience, including managing costs, design, contract negotiations, and construction.

Michael has focused on the unique construction challenges of residential, multi-family and mixed-used development projects in both urban and rural settings, approaching each challenge with strong due diligence, cost management, pre-construction, and contract procurement and management. He has worked with owners, developers, and investors on development projects throughout California, Arizona, and Canada.

Prior to founding Salt Shed, Michael worked in Executive and Project Management roles for large, international construction firms on a variety of complex projects. He earned his Bachelor’s degree equivalent, National Certificate in Construction Studies and Construction Economics from the Waterford Institute of Technology in Waterford, Ireland.
