Dr Mehdi Denis Moustaqil.

Dr Mehdi Denis Moustaqil, Ph.D., is a clinical engineer at Saluda Medical since November 2020, focusing on neural response recordings and closed-loop stimulation applications. Previously, Dr Moustaqil served as a post-doctoral fellow at EMBL, contributing to COVID-19 research in collaboration with global institutions, and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at JUVENIS AUSTRALIA, launching the first Australian plastic-free cosmetic range. Additional roles include post-doctoral fellowships at EMBL Australia in medical device development and as a UNSW PhD researcher exploring the SOX18 transcription factor. Previous experience encompasses positions as a pharmaceutical specialist at the Institute of Molecular Biology and as a biotechnology intern at AECL, among others. Dr Moustaqil holds a Master diploma in Health Engineering from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Montpellier, France.
