Ian Gould

Ian Gould is an experienced data analytics leader currently serving as the Head of Data Analytics at Saluda Medical since October 2019. Prior to this role, Ian held multiple positions at Commonwealth Bank from February 2015 to October 2019, culminating in the role of Senior Data Scientist / Senior Manager, where a significant program was developed to enhance self-service machine learning tooling. Ian's academic background includes a PhD and an M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree with first-class distinction in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Ian's research experience includes developing machine learning tools for schizophrenia and conducting neuroimaging studies on cognitive changes in various neurodegenerative conditions, demonstrating a strong foundation in both data science and neuroscience.
