Peter Aigner

Peter Aigner is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering leadership within the medical device sector. Presently serving as the Electrical Engineer Team Lead at Saluda Medical since October 2017, Peter previously held key roles including Principal Project Engineer Lead at Cubic Transport Systems and Vice President of Engineering at Simavita (Aust) Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing product development and leading a multi-disciplinary R&D team for FDA product listings. Earlier in the career, Peter contributed to business development and project management roles at Invetech, establishing a European presence and managing various development projects. Beginning as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Corbett Robotics Inc., Peter advanced to General Manager, significantly growing the company and overseeing product line development. Peter received a Ph.D. in Robotic Control Systems from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from RMIT University.
