Dr Anthony Lawrenson

Dr. Anthony Lawrenson is a seasoned aviation professional with a diverse background in leadership and academia. Currently, Dr. Lawrenson serves as the Director of Volant Autonomy and the Managing Director of SALUS INTELLIGENCE LIMITED, while also holding the position of Boeing 777 Captain at British Airways since 1998. Additionally, Dr. Lawrenson contributes as a Visiting Lecturer at Cranfield University. With a notable career that began in the Royal Air Force as a Pilot, Dr. Lawrenson has also earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Legal Standards of Safety Culture in Commercial Aviation from Cranfield University, alongside a PGDipL in Law from UWE and a BA(Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent.
