Steve Spilak has a diverse work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Steve started their career as a Tool Maker at Formatech Inc. in 1989 and then moved on to become the General Manager at Optimoule L & K Inc. in 1991. In 1992, they founded their own company, Spilak Technologies Inc., where they served as the President until 2005. Steve also worked as the Director of Operations at Megaplast Inc. from 1995 to 2002 and as a Professor at College de la Region d'Amiante in 1999. From 2005 to 2006, they held a sales role at SparQuetec. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the General Manager at Acme Saw, overseeing all aspects of operations and leading the sales and service force. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Sales Director at FMS Canada, responsible for managing operations in Eastern Canada. Currently, they hold the position of National Sales Director at Salvagnini America, where they specialize in manufacturing investment equipment for the sheet metal and plate market.
Steve Spilak completed Business Management Courses at Dawson College in 1990. In 2004, they also took Business Management Courses at Laval Business School. Additionally, in 2000, they studied MasterCam at College Sherbrooke. In the same year, they pursued Injection Mold Design and Manufacturing Injection Molds at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers-Detroit. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1989, Steve completed a Computer Maintenance Program at Dawson College. Furthermore, they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Dawson College, where they studied from 1981 to 1987.
