Dmitry Surin

Dmitry Surin has a significant work experience in the field of surveying and GIS. Dmitry started their career in 1998 as an Engineer at Engineering Surveying Public Corporation PC "STROYIZYSKANIYA". Dmitry then served as the Head of the R&D implementation group and later as the Chief Engineer of the topographical land surveying expedition, leading teams of subordinates. In 2003, they moved to another company, Engineering Surveying Public Corporation PC "STROYIZYSKANIYA", where they worked as the Principal Engineer of a surveying party. In 2005, Dmitry joined Salym Petroleum Development as a Surveyor and later became a Lead GIS Data Engineer. Dmitry has accumulated extensive experience and expertise in GIS data engineering and surveying throughout their career.

Dmitry Surin began their education in 1993 at the Siberian State Geodesic Academy in Novosibirsk, where they studied aerophotogeodesy. Dmitry completed their studies there in 1998. Later, in 2008, Dmitry attended Moscow State Open University (MSOU), focusing on surveying. Dmitry graduated from MSOU in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Dmitry has obtained several certifications over the years. These include "Building Geodatabases" from DATA + in September 2011, "Geoprocessing Raster Data Using ArcGIS Spatial Analyst" from ESRI in November 2012, "Introduction to ArcGIS Server" from ESRI in December 2012, "ArcGIS for Server and Portal for ArcGIS: Web GIS Configuration and Administration" from Esri CIS in November 2018, and "Spatial Analysis with ArcGIS Pro" from Esri CIS in October 2019.
