Dr. Sebastian Bross

Dr. Sebastian Bross has extensive experience in leadership roles within the steel and engineering industries, currently serving as a member of the executive board at Salzgitter AG since October 2019, and holding multiple CEO positions at Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH, Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlhandel GmbH, and Universal Eisen und Stahl GmbH since January 2023. Previously, Bross was CEO of Peiner Träger GmbH and Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech GmbH, as well as Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH from October 2019 to December 2022. Additionally, Bross was Executive Director of Sales and Logistics at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH from January 2010 to January 2022. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Material Mechanics, and Metal Physics from Technische Universität Braunschweig, where studies were conducted from 1996 to 2002, along with a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering earned from the same institution between 1991 and 1996, and studies at the University of Sussex in 1995-1996.
